CNMaestro Esssentials vs X

Curiositi

cnMaestro X is a powerful management platform for end-to-end Cambium Networks’ wireless fabric. The most recent release, V3.1.1, added new functionality, expanding its value in your network. Upgrades include:

  • New high performance Wi-Fi 6 and 6E solutions
  • Increased security scalability with ePSKs
  • Improved cnWave 60 GHz visibility
  • Enhanced troubleshooting
  • And more…

As of last year, Cambium Networks offers a free and paid version of their excellent cloud-based management software. cnMaestro X is the full (paid) version, with elastic scaleability, lifecycle management, zero-touch provisioning and more. This software greatly simplifies operations and management.

cnMaestro Essentials, the license-free version, provides some excellent functionality while reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for institutions of all sizes.

While the full paid version is definitely going to be the best option, especially for larger networks, the free version provides a god feature set to get started; offering monitoring, configuration, operation and management.

With cnMaestro X, you can choose between On-Prem and Cloud based, with the Cloud version offering the largest feature-set.

Some of the key features offered by the full-cloud-version, cnMaestro X, include:

  • APIs and Webhooks
  • Long-Term Historical Data
  • Support
  • High Availability
  • Auto provisioning

Cambium Networks’ XE3-4 Wi-Fi 6E Access Point

By Daniel Smith

Cambium Networks’ XE3-4 Access Point provides tri-band – Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E radios, a great option for forward-thinking institutions wanting to prepare for the future and support higher network speeds.

For me, the standout feature that makes the XE3-4 really shine, is the full backwards compatibility with existing wi-fi technology; supporting higher speed clients, legacy tech, IoT, and more – all across one infrastructure.

As of May 2022, we currently have Cambium gear in stock, ready to roll out across Australia.

You can  learn more about Cambium Networks here or get in touch to line up a chat.
